Yup. Notice how the technology seems to be biomechanical, but with more "mechanical" than the Aliens themselves? I'll bet it turns out the Space Jockeys had a hand in the Xeno's creation.

There's also a pic somewhere of a Space Jocky that can walk around (Not bound to a pilot's chair)... looks a little like an elephant, facially. Sorta. A bit.
