It was a resin kit that I put together and painted myself. No, it doesn't work. The next one will, though.

One question though. Why is it that a weapon that supposedly uses EM pulses to launch projectiles has the part that ejects shell casings. The bullets wouldn't need shell casings...

I know the movie prop uses a Thompson smg as a base but shouldn't that bit be covered up?

To be honest, it's my first attempt at anything like this since I was about 8 and I made a total mess-up of a model helicopter.
I've got a taste for it now, though, so I'm already arranging the parts for my next one.

James Cameron just likes shit looking good, not a man for real practical use on his creations, for instants the ammo count on the side of the weapon is useless for real world use, great cinema use thought, to make it more practical the numbers should be near the iron sight.

But thats movie magic for you.

The smartgun isn't nearly as iconic, and a lot harder to get the parts for.
Next up is a better Pulse Rifle then, hopefully, a motion tracker.

Nope, never.

The Master Replicas motion tracker is good, but it's too pristine - it even comes in a perspex case. I've got 3 kids, and anything I have needs to be a bit more rugged, hence me building my own.
