The Commandos Collection (Strike Force not included so you don't have to worry about explaining why you have that game on your Steam list to people) is now €5 on Steam for people who want to replay old classics with the ease of digital distribution or for those who have been denied the chance to play these great games.

Word of warning to those who've never played: They take a lot of tactics and a lot of patience.

Edit: Note: These games are €6 each individually so it's pretty damn good deal.

Edit2: Forgot to put link in originally. Here it is.

Actually, Commandos 1 is a logical puzzle game disguised as a tactical game.

It's been so long since I've played the first I barely remember it. I'm pretty sure I played the expansion pack more than the original though. Yet another reason for me to get it I suppose.

Excellent, lost the 2nd disc of commandos 2 years ago, I use to love the multiplayer.

Commandos 3 sucked, the others are some of the best strategy games ever made.

WOOOOWWW, shall purchase straight away. Commandos and its expansion pack and ESPECIALLY commandos 2 are as stabby said, some of the best strategy games ever made.

Will be getting 1 and 2 when I get home. Thanks!!
It's cheaper to get the pack that two of them individually. In fact, the pack is cheaper than buying each game right now (and the first game and its expansion pack are listed as separate games on Steam).

Ha! Even better! Thanks for the pro-tip.

any of you will play multiplayer?

I have a retail vertion but dont know if it will work whit the steam thing

but well may bought it anyway to the previos that I barely remnber too

Playing Commandos 2 for the first time and damn if it doesn't require alot of quick save quick loading, such slow agonising yet strangely satisfying fun.

I enjoyed Commandos 1 and 2 hugely back in the day, but as some have said the amount of quickloading necessary is formidable. Tempted by this.

I only like the first game and its expansion pack - never played the second game.

I think I got one of those massive packs during the holidays and they came included, so i will give them a whirl someday.
