flying saucer, flying saucer, flying saucer.. obviously the credability of that term is due to the not so serious stereotype, but thats just being childish,nothing wrong with using that.. flying disc, UFO, flying saucers.. there all the same thing.
but I am actually talking about government operated ones, yes.
no one I know of has attempted to put much more than 30 or 40 kv into a lifter like capacitor, other than Thomas townsend brown, he used hundreds of thousands of volts and possibly millions, and proper specially shaped discs seperated by proper dielectic material rather than just air, the results where supposed to be 'quote' 'shocking'. you might imagine with the proper balance of voltage and craft size it could be possible to easily carry a power supply.. depending on the strength of the effect, it should be tested publically just for the sake of it, even if the power supply is external to begin with.
