...are fecking dedicated! i mean i joined in <enter my join date here> and i didnt even know about hl2 and i only finished hl1 like a month before and thought it was a good game but not as good as **** & ***** (but that was graphics) so i read all about gabe and microsoft and valve and the breakthrough of hl and stuff and fell in love with it!
Then i joined, heard about people waiting a year and a bit when they saw some crowbar advert :p and had the sept 30th 2003 release date then it got prosponed because of leaks and... wow... damnit how did you fecking cope for a year?!?!?!

I cant believe i've got up to 500posts but the people with 2000+ posts are just showing their dedication to valve and hl... good job!


(also pm'd an admin about how they read spoilers and keep them out of sight from the public on the forum and just wanna say a big thank you to them because of such charity in the name of hl and its story!)
 
there is one weird guy who is close to 10k posts ;) I'm quite impressed with my own even if it's not near 2k at all.

okay seriously tho.. i've been here a year plus now.. and i happen to have an opinion (oh my gosh when did that start happening? :O ).. see the connection here? yeah, i didn't think so ;)

I've never really cared about my post count... except when my title was still Headcrab (or whatever the newbie title was when I joined).
 
Ive been here since near the start, i dont post that much but im coming on 3000

Then you have the post whores like TDE with 10,000 :D

I surfed around on these forums for a long time before I joined. I have a lot of catching up to do :)

This place has been my second home since earlier this spring/winter.

I'm not sure how many posts counts I have, lets see now. I don't post very much though. I only really pay attention to the modelling and art forums, sometimes the random games one for updates on things.
 
Well, I'm going on 2000, I will probably have it before x-mas.
 
Posting on forums, especially this one, can be super addictive. I would have a much higher post count if not for my vacation for 2 months (Mid-June to Mid-August). :x

I'm practically embarassed. Although it does piss me off that people take post count as some status symbol - especially when morons ignore what people with lower postcounts have to say no matter how valid they might be.

As everyone can see, the postcount is but a figure of authority and status..

I'd rather have mine removed completely or reduced to 0. :)
