Yes, she's a female. She has short(er) hair. And it's black! :O

Beyond Good and Evil was released late last year, and has been under development for some time before that. If anything, Alyx is a lookalike of Jade. Also Jade's a lot hotter than Alyx (my opinion.)

On a different note, Beyond Good and Evil was a VERY good game. Anyone who hasn't played it should get it soon. It's only 20 bucks. Why not?

And yes, this has been posted before. I probably said the same thing on the previous post, too. Wow, I feel stupid now.

She also looks like the voice actor that does the voice for Alyx (i would find her page on idmb.com but i realy cba, im sur you've seen it)
 
i second the vote for people to purchase Beyond Good & Evil, sadly it didn't sell to well, i got it in the sale for £10, worth every penny - especially for peeps with new systems - the water effects are quite impressive indeed, the game itself is innovative too with having to photograph every animal you see. As for Alyx, the voice actress Merle Dandridge is here:

She's an actress, currently doing theatre - so for all those HL2 film hacks out there, look no further...personally I think Wionna Ryder would be the best bet, while you can't beat a Gary Oldman or an Ed Norton for Gordon Freeman! ;)
