Am I crazy or are the gun physics improved as well?

What I mean is, the MP5 seems to have some actual recoil, as well as the pistol. Also the crossbow bolts descend as they go further through the air.

Were these features in the original HL? I just re-played it a month or two ago and I cannot remember it being like this. Anyway it's pretty cool. So anyone else notice this?

so that's what was happening!!!
everytime i shot the crossbow it would hit right below the mark, and i would be like, wtf?, bug maybe, but now it all makes sense!!! it's the physics and something called gravity
