Amazing Physics Demonstrations

Holy hell, that's awesome. The water still has goo-like physics except the third water one.

That's crazy.

I hope he releases the demos.

So cool, are these rendered in real time or are they pre-rendered procedurally?.

****ing amazing.

Clarky I belive these are pre-rendered. But we really are not too far off from having stuff at this quality in games. The PS3 can already do impressive water simulation, if you've seen some of the demos.

Pretty cool. Can't wait until stuff like this is commonplace in games.

Wanted to shoot 'mercury man' (2nd to last video) with a shotgun tbh.

Wow, just wow. Those are some crazy physics simulations. Can't wait till we can get some of this stuff in video games. Euphoria, from what I have seen, seems to be really close to realizing this kinda stuff, with its realistic deformations.

was anyone else thinking dirty thoughts when all of that green goo was bukakke-ing that gnome/dwarf thing?

edit: imagine what this could mean for the pr0n game industry...

edit2: omg, and the last part of the water demo where it's just gushing all over the gnome/dwarf thing...

The part with the guy squishing the jelly rabbit was just... amazing.

I don't get it. You see all this stuff in movies all the time.
The difference is that we're getting closer and closer to having this sort of physics simulation calculated and rendered in real-time in videogames. In movies, these things are carefully calculated and rendered over enormous time frames.

right-o

Those last three-four ones with the fire and liquids were already shown in an earlier article on another side where the creator had stated they were pre-rendered..

WHAT's this, Maya Novodex Physics. AS in rendered physics from maya? maya uses the ageia novodex physics engine btw..

Props to the first person to go "Hey, I'd like to do a 3D physics simulation of the Jolly Green Giant releasing his load into the face of a statue of Douglas Macarthur."
