As many know, the Combine, are highly advanced aliens, that invaded Earth, through the project, that went aray, at Black Mesa. We know that they won the Seven-Hour-War, and set up an international puppet state, which is led by Dr. Breen. We know that they run, a brutal government that is ran under martial law....We see metro cops beating up personel, and shoving off humans to a prison called Nova Prospekt......We all know about
Nova Prospeckt, on how either a human is transformed into a combine soldier, or a stalker. A stalker is one of the most gruesome images in HL2, A human, that has been disembowelled, stripped of all fat, and muscle tissue, and all limbs removed, not to mention the face itself!

Another terrific, yet horrifying image, is a glance at the world its self.....We know the Combine are stripping the Earth of every reasource, weither it's water, or iron....we see everything on Earth dying...humans...and the world itself, because these....aliens invaded it, and decided to instead of living in harmony with the Earth's fellow organisms...and respect the enviorment.....We see it all being destroyed and raped, for the Combine's personal gain..........But it is nothing new..............................................


Stop, and take 10 minutes to look at our world now.

Do you notice something......wars, smog, global warming, supermarkets that sell pups........


Are the Combine really that evil?

Are they really evil aliens that have came to ruin the Earth and its inhabitants?

Or, are the Combine really a reflection of ourselves.......


Look at us, we drill oil, we mass cultivate, forcing land levels to drop...we drive cars that pollute the atomosphere, allowing temperature levels to rise, driving the melting of the polar caps.....we destroy so called "inferior races", and hurd them like cattle, from one place to the next...forcing them to either die out, or become our slaves....we have stores that over-breed sick dogs, and if they are not sold, they are murdered......we dicided to play god, and mess with genetics, no to mention........we are traveling in space.....

Why are we going to Mars?...why are we trying to find intelligent life? andother worlds, are we really curious about other life forms, or are we just searching for our next "Home Planet" to enslave its life forms, and strip it of its resources....

I feel the Combine are really vesions of ourselves....looking inward to see the faults of man.

Pherhaps we humans are slowly destroying the possibility to live on in the future, but I don't think the combine is making things better for man kind. Rather they are making our lives a hell hole in a more concrete way, by turning us to stalkers for instance. We have all our organs and legs removed except for our brains and have our free will removed as well, thus making us the most miserable of slaves one can imagine.

So pherhaps they are saving us from global warming, but I strongly doubt we will have a better future never the less.

The Combine is an antagonist in a frikkin' video game. So you have targets to shoot at.
