As far as predictive texts go - much more valid case for Nostradamus saying various things and getting them right. One I remember was the 'the great fleet will flounder in the Gulf of Arabs'. Only one Fleet I can think of that might be there.....

But it has not floundered of course. Unless you say that the USS Cole was an example of that. But it was more then it would be more the "Great Boat has a hole blown in it ' rather than the Greet Fleet flounders.

There was also nothing in Nostradums to predict the WTC attack, despite what you may have read on the internet. That verse was made up....

I also seem to remember various things about the 'Bear' and the 'Eagle' which some have said to Russia and America. No China there I don't think, cant recall a 'Panda Bear' in his writings.

But all of Nostradamus' prophecies are so bizarre and obscure, it is very hard to apply them to any specific circumstance. But I think the people that do, have a far better case than this guy seems to.

It surprises me that these predicting gypsies don't choose a date so far in the future that no one will be around to care whether they were right or wrong.

If I told you that a tidal wave was going to wipe out the earth in 2005, would you believe me? Of course not. Why? Because there is no way I could know this. This sort of event would be caused by earthqukaes or meteors, neither of which are predictable. If it were, we would know exactly when the next one would hit, which we don't, so, there is no way anyone in the past could have know.

Of course, you can say "God would know in advance", to which I can only say "prove it...". If this man is right, then the earth is going to be pretty much crushed anyway, so it dosen't matter, and if he is wrong, then we can stop listening to him. Either way, I choose to ignore this fully
