Why don't you try scouting around Africa where education is generally piss-poor and any progress is generally stymied by irrational hatred and violence fueled by corruption and poverty. Hope that answers your question.

The two aren't interrelated. At all. Ignorance means that you're just not aware of something, you haven't learned it yet. Stupidity means that you're unable to learn, slow or obtuse. You can not use one in place of the other.

No, stupidity doesnt mean unable to learn. It means SLOW to learn. You can't use stupid in the place of ignorant, but ignorant people do fit into that general definition.

Because americans are ignorant, they make foolish or careless mistakes, like eating too much fatty foods and getting obese for example.
