This is the moment Hungarian weightlifter Janos Baranyai's first Olympics ended in agony when he dislocated his right elbow in the ugliest moment yet of the Olympic weightlifting competition.

Baranyai was trying to snatch 148kg in his third lift in the men's 77kg division, when his elbow popped out of its socket.

No longer able to support the weight of the barbell, his right forearm bent backward. The 24-year-old Hungarian fell to the floor in shock, shaking and crying out in pain.

Hungary's coaching staff and competition officials rushed to Baranyai's aid as he lay trembling on the floor, his arm limp and twisted out of position.

GAH!!!!!!!!

but horrific photos shouldnt go unnoticed by 98% of this community just because it could be in the photo section

Was about to post the same in the olympic thread. Jesus christ WHAT a dislocation.

Edit: DAAAAMMNN YOU STEEERRRNNNN

I think I'm getting a little to obsessed with L4D. The second I saw the 2nd picture, I thought: "His arm sorta remnds me of the Tank."

OMG. I bet that's the end of his career.

That must be scary to have your arm backwards.

I did that yesterday lifting my house (I wanted to move it down the street), I just popped it back in and went on my way.. That guys a bitch. And weak.

Bit of elbow grease and he'll be right as rain.

Oh jesus, that is just wrong, but shouldnt be long before he is back in action, if he has the balls to after that D:

Watching that was so, so wrong.

Then I clicked the button to make it go back to before the dislocation... urghh.

Then I stopped. But man...

Oh my god, I just watched the video. I then proceeded to put vinegar in my eyes.

Am I the only person who thought that was cool?

Not cool as in, 'oh he broke his arm, bad-ass.'

But cool as in, you could see it going, going, going and SNAP. Like braking a tree branch, it only goes so far before it snaps..

holy mother of God that looked painful! Ahh

Agh, that looks horrible :(

Havent seen anything that bad since the poor bloke on Arsenal broke his leg

I watched a few hours of the weightlifting at a party the other day, in the early hours like. I could see something like this coming from a mile off but it's still pretty horrifying.

The most dangerous moment was, in fact, when the weight dropped on his back.

If a dislocated elbow is his only worry after not being able to hold up those weights, then I say he was lucky.

Probably wont be weight lifting again though...

If that happened to you, I think the term awsome would be least in your mind at that moment.
