Angel Mapper (grats!)

I talked to her, and made some jokes with her, though I doubt she remembers me....Didn't she pull the good ol' "switcheroo"?

Umm, her homepage scares me a little :|

Hope she's doing ok. I'm gonna take a look at some of the maps.

I just read the artcile myself grats to her and all of her achievements.

She was here for a little while, I don't think she posts anymore though. Frickin fantastic mapper though.

Isn't she the one that kept talking about transexuals?

She was really cool. One of the best community mappers I've seen.

Ohhhh, I remember her. Used to see her around with Hourences, he just brought out his book as well.

I remember her maps been alright. I'm guessing she has got a lot better. Your talking like 4-5years ago :p

DM-Reconstruct (UT2004) was great. It really made me realise how creative amateur level designers can be, and how even small projects can have some really innovative features... I don't think anyone has really gone to town with the ideas since, but there's some real potential there.

It's just a shame that discussion of her work is:

35% - "Wow! A Woman who creates maps for videogames!"
35% - "Uhh... a Woman who used to be a man who creates maps for videogames!"
19% - "Err... is it 'he' or 'she'?"
19% - "Oh god, you're all so ignorant! [cue 10,000 word dissertation on the psychology of transgenderism. Primary sources: wikipedia and 4chan]"
2% - "Hot shit, these maps are good."

In a perfect world, pointless discussions about an author's private life would be left to English Literature seminars. Ooh yes Lewis Carrol... We know all about you... you and your unhealthy obsession with photographing young girls!

Shame that she doesn't appear to be making anything for Source :/ As good as the mods are for the engine, there is a real shortage of individuals working on small, tightly focused but well designed maps.
