If you watch anime, what are some of your fav series'?

I don't watch anime per se, but I watched Princess Mononoke a few months back and boy did it rock.
 
I don't really like anime, but I enjoyed:

Cowboy Bebop
FLCL
Eh that show with a samurai... Kenshin something
YuYuHakushu (no idea how to spell it)
 
Evangelion, Trigun, Bebop, Hellsing, and A few of the Gundams. Akira was probibly the best Anime Movie.
 
I've been watching the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series. Like the movie, the series' story and action is awesome.
 
Any of you actually download anime off bittorrent sites or anything?
 
Nah, Adult Swim and Tonami, too lazy to download or buy DVDs.
 
Downloading doesn't take long, if you use good programs where you can find people with T1/T3 connections you can get an ep in 20-30 minutes.
 
Hmm I don't watch the series too often, but I probably saw every movie in Virgin's "Essential Anime" section.

Only seen Akira but it was incredible. It was the dubbed version though..
I really want to find the subbed one.
Dubs only work in old martial arts films that completely lack any plot.

I thought the dubbing for akira was some of the best ive heard in an anime.
 
I would have to say akira, and you can't go wrong with some vampire hunter d
 
uhh I've seen dbz (had all 3 bushido games for snes when I lived in japan), sailor moon, rorouni kenshin, kikaider (if it can be conisdered as such) yu yu hakusho (had this for snes too, japanese but awsome) I saw all the dbz episodes over in japan on channel 10, uhh saw most of the movies over in the big theatre. Seen vampire hunter D, ghost in the shell, akira, perfect blue, some other various ones, hellsing, gundam, etc.... I would say my favorite would have to be one I only saw the first episode of, called Noir. It was awsome in a sort of graceful manner when the little girl hangs the dude by his tie, grabs it jumps into rafters and hangs him upside down by holding on it siloutted in the doorway, OMG Sweet!1!!!!!11!

Anime must be teh pwn. Nothing can take the style of anime! It's so great.

Battle Angel Alita is a great one! Wish they had made all the mangas into anime =/

i just dont get whats so fun with a poorly animated cartoon, mostly with a very very odd and weird story.

Dude if you watch real anime, like Akira or Ninja Scroll, and NOT pokemon or dragon ball z you will discover that they are far from poorly animated, in fact some of them are the best animated films you will ever see, and the story aren't weird they are target to a more mature audience so it may take a while to understand whats going on but a lot of times the stories are really deep and professional
 
Neon genesis Evangelion is infact a story very few people understand (me included) It gets very weired after episode 15 or so.

Well there are some special cases as well lol but on the same token i've seen quite a few martial arts movies that i didn't understand
 
NGE is really, really something special, yet ****ing bizzare.
 
especially end of evangelion. I have seen the movies three times, and I still don't understand them. So i just said "I don't accept that. The ending of the series is the only one for me"
