Play for free games are always cool at first but suffer from the same crap. They're always succeptible to hackers and never seem to have any sort of protection added no matter how terrible it gets. They always end up having some game breaking thing implemented to purchase via the ever present micro transaction situation. They seem to be taken over by non-English-speaking gamers from around the world within a few months. And finally, they end up with an utter lack of content that is "free."
I might try it - but I doubt it would take any precedence over something like BF Vietnam.
none of those things are true of the dev's other free to play game Battlefield Heroes. the only problem I see is that like BFH they'll eventually add in weapons that are better than default for a price.
Actually many of them are. Several times in the time I played it - hackers made the game unplayable. Most of the servers I ended up on were dominated by Portugese speaking Brazilians (when did they become a gaming power?)
and the only content they managed to provide in the time I actually paid any attention was more retarded costumes that you had to buy.
I still want my Mirror's Edge 2.Battlefield: Bad Company 3: 2143: Vietnam: Mission Pack 2. 8 players per map, now with microtransactions and 30$ subscription fee every week. Console exclusive.
Dice (COUGH EA COUGH) died a long time ago, i wouldnt expect any better than this.
Yes please.I still want my Mirror's Edge 2.
[/QUOTE]they havent. there is no lobby to find servers so people will join servers by ip. so that brazilian server was probably one hosted in brazil
you could also buy better guns either through currency you earn in game or with real money. the best weapons cost real money
However, it is true that none of the purchasable items were gamebreaking for those that didn't have them.
And if you could "Buy the best guns" then maybe they did have a game breaking situation going on. When I played thee were no guns to be bought with real money. In fact there weren't many guns at all. Just a few iterations the types available.
The point of all of this is that the primary focus is to make money through transactions since the game is free.
Hmm, could be good. Was expecting something far more eye-rolling.
Oh well, I'll settle for the title.
Stupidly corny trailer that tries to make it seem way more cool than it actually is.
This will go the same route as BFH and become an extremely unbalanced microtransaction rental item wankfest.
