Announcing XSI Mod Tool and New VMF Exporter for XSI

Softimage has released a new tool to modify games called the XSI Mod Tool and is based on the XSI 4.2 product.

It also comes with a new set of Valve Tools which includes:

SMD Exporter
To output your characters and Props to Source

SMD Importer
To import your legacy HL1 character into XSI and modify them


VMF Importer
To import Hammer maps

VMF Exporter
To create maps in XSI! :cheers:

This looks really sweet. I can't wait to download it and try out the vmf export. I didn't see... but does it have the same 4000 poly export limit as the previous version?
