Saw a story about this film on CBS this morning and it looks rather interesting.

Trailer:

Rhoda Williams (Brit Marling), a student recently accepted to MIT, is driving back from a party when she notices a planet on the horizon. Leaning out her window for a better look, she hits a sedan and kills two members of the family in it. She is imprisoned for four years. Upon her release, she seeks out the widower of the family, composer John Burroughs (William Mapother).
The planet she saw is a mirror planet of Earth, seemingly to the extent that it even has the same people on it, and an essay contest is held where the winner can ride a space shuttle to visit it. As the planet moves closer to Earth, Rhoda considers the possibility of visiting it to find out what kind of life her mirror self would have led. Meanwhile, she is developing an increasingly intimate relationship with John without revealing her true identity to him.

Ah yes, yet another movie that uses weird/sci-fi/fantasy elements in the background to lure in unsuspecting victims to what is really a boring character drama. Sorry, not falling for that again.

This. And something tells me that the gravitational field from "Earth 2" would turn this movie more into a Michael Bay disaster flick than a character drama... I could be wrong.

 This does not accurately portray how ****ing hard I'm laughing. I cannot believe somebody was paid to write this movie.
