I made a Half-Life 2 FanTrailer of the BINK's from E3 2003 with music of E.S. Posthumus. Problem is I can't find a host for the movie. Do you guys know a good place where I could host my movie?

Here's some technical information:

Videocodec: DivX | 700 kbps | 640x360 (explains the wrong-scaled images at beginning and end)
Audiocodec: MP3 | 44khz | 112 kbps
Size: 23.3 MB
Length: 4:12

Upload it somewhere and PM me a link to it, I'll host it on Halflife2.net for you if you like :)

Good ol E.S. Posthumus.
Great Trailer Music i'd have to say.

You can upload it to FIle Planet. Real easy. Takes them a week or two to process the file though, but it's free.

Wow, thx for all the offers. I already tried FilePlanet but they never returned me a mail or something and it has been a week ago, so I guess I will receive a confirmation later. I will upload it to a host, Munro and PM you the link. The reason why I can't use my own host permanently for the trailer is because when it gets too much downloads it will be closed down for 24hrs. Really thanks for all the offers :), I'll PM Munro.

Don't expect TOO much of it :P I think it's ok but it's nothing really special. And give Munro a rest, he's a busy man :P

It's on the front page now folks if you missed it :)

Lol, FanTrailer has been upped yesterday and put on hl2.net today. I'm still seeding the E3 2004 torrent, yes :P

That trailer was pretty good. The slow motion looked kinda crummy, as did the still images, but the music really fitted the Bink stuff. Nice. :)

Great video and nicely selected scenes. Loved the end and if I had one complaint, I would say I would of used E.S. Posthumus - Nara, great track.

Thanks. Movies were only 25 kb/s (converted) so it's hard to make good slowmotion of it.

That's one of the best songs of E.S. Posthumus, yes, but I thought Ebla would fit better, it sounds "bigger". Thanks for the reply!

Nice trailer, just a question though: where does the clip which starts at 1:48 of your trailer come from? It has Gordon outside, walking up a ramp with an antlion in front of him. I have never seen this anywhere...

This is the Source showcase video Valve released, just to show off their engine.

I JUST watched the e3 2003 source tech demo, and this clip is clearly not in it. I have all the HL2 videos that have been released, and have not seen this one clip in any of them. Not from any video from 2003 or 2004. WHERE does it come from!?

Its in the Direct X 9 video, showing off the HDR. It should be on Fileplanet.

Edit - Here it is.

It's not the E3 2003 Source techdemo. It's a different BINK, not showed in the E3 2003 video. I don't know the exact filename but you should be able to get it on a site like halflifefiles.com.

Here we go, I've mirrored Burning Fish's fan trailer for anyone having problems with HL2.net's (and maybe take some of the load off of HL2.net):

Edit: I have to take this down for the moment, as I appear to be over my BW/space usage (not sure which, but I'll try and get it up later, sorry guys)

Still thanks for the effort!

I'll still try and get it up later, I don't want extra charges on my webhost.. oddly enough, even after I deleted the offending files that put me over my space limit, it's still reporting I'm using the same amount of disk space..

rarr, we'll see.
