Another Physgun Q (jbmod)

Yes i know its been posted before, and Yes i Have searched but this question APPEARS to have some authenticity. Obviously I am one of the many whom cant appear to get this thing working. But here is where its a little odd. Now i CAN get it working BUT it wont work for long. i Installed the Jbmod to the valve folder and not the steam folder because unless the mod has the game/map info i'm not sure i can save it there, and the shortcut is as follows
"C:\Valve\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 220 -game jbmod -console"
bu upon opening the game a message is presented in the console and it says something about not being able to load Maplist.txt so i import it from somewhere else and that fix's that. But when attempting to start a new game aparently it still has not loaded the maps and theres nothing to start from. So my only option and this is where the momentary working part comes in, is to import a save from the C:\valve\steam\steam.exe\Hl2\save whatever folder and load from that. now i can change levels and all that good stuff, but when it comes to a loading point it doesnt get past it. (the physgun works at this point) And thats basically as far as i have gotton. If anyone has experianced this problem and can point me to a solution or just have advice i would appreciate it

What do you mean by "vavle" folder?
Because the path should look like: C:\Steam\SteamApps\username\half-life 2\jbmod

Instead of going through Program files when in the Hard drive there is a file Labeled "Valve" and thats where steam/steamapps/Draag64/halflife2/ is at, and i saved Jbmod in that folder which is the folder right before the Hl2 folder
