Another Poll: Hazard Course or Start Game?

I just have to keep us going for a little longer. So, once HL2 is installed/patched/authenticated, and you're staring at that menu, will you click on the Hazard course (or equivalent) or will you click "Start Game"?

i'm not sure, really. i "know" most of how to play FPS games. it just teaches how to jump, duck, the use key, shooting, etc.
if i do do the hazard course first, it would be because i want to get used to playing with the source engine.

Nah Hazard Course first definitely. I don't like to miss ANYTHING when I'm playin a good game.

hazard course, mos def. who knows, maybe theres some new moves up gordons sleeve that hasnt been released.... imagine some diving, a la specialists. or wall jumping or at least some split-jumping (like splinter cell)

hazard course for me just to be on the safe side but i did hear somewhere that the controls and actions gorden can do will be reletively the same like the duck-jump.

Eventhough I normally play the tutorial when I first get a game, I just can't wait to start HL2 the game!

I'll do the hazard course first for sure...its kind of like a pre-introduction to the game...

need to do things in order...so hazard course --> 36 hrs. of singleplayer --> multiplayer...

The hazard course was the coolest thing ever invented! I may even play it 3 times and then start HL 2

I skipped the hazard course in the first game and it took me quite awhile to realize you jumped higher if you ducked while jumping.

Indeed. Not to mention that even if you were an FPS veteran there were completely new concepts such as the duck-jump and the longjump to find out about...

I'll definitely do the hazard course first. Not just to learn anything new, but to experience it.

Hazard course for me , I wanna see what the loading times are like and stuff like that, so I can tweak my settings so it dosent ruin it when I go into the real game

You must play hazard course to get into the game. It's hard to just get in the sp the first time, and who know... maybe Gordon has some new moves as well.
