So my Boss is selling his comp

SPECS
XPS 700
1 gig ram
250 gig hd
E6300 cpu Dual 2 core
Gx7950 (dual gpu card) with 1 gig ram
Xp media center
3 year warranty

1000 bones

Looks like a really good deal to me, but I'd have to borrow about half the money. Should I do it?

Hmmm, I could get something faster if I wait. It won't be a completely new computer but it would be faster.

Yeah, but thats a good bang for the buck he's being offered, and dx10 cards just came out, its going to be a long time before games really bring out their potential, a 7950gx2 is going to be superb till then. I'm assuming the pc is also coming with a decent power supply. If you try making this on ibuypower.com (different case and shiz since they aren't dell) and it will cost a lot more. And since he's your boss, maybe he could give you an employee discount?

I'd get that without thinking. No really, get it. It's a hell of a deal.

Then add another 1gb or ram and you're set for 2 years. You can probably upgrade to a quad core cpu and a dx10 card near the end of 2007. There will be good deals around that time.
