Currently, my motherboard has a FSB of 533, and I am using PC2700 ram for it. My question is, can I use a faster RAM (like PC3200) or is PC2700 all my mobo can support and even if I could go up in speed, would it be worth it, or would the mobo "bottleneck" the RAM, rendering the upgrade in speed worthless?

Thanks in advance!

The speed of RAM you can have is dependant on what your motherboard can support. You'll have to figure out what the max RAM speed is that your particular motherboard can handle. If it supports PC3200 RAM and you still leave the PC2700 RAM in there, both pieces of RAM will run at the slower speed. I wouldn't recommend upping your RAM speed by that little unless you also get more ram (like going from 256 to 512, or whatever).
