I'm 6. Turning 9 this March.

People say I'm pretty mature for my age.

...........

you age really quickly

............

24 for me. I think the 20-50 range is just a bit broad...

I think what's more important is to note that the older guys are the ones making the video games we are playing now. I know there are some youngish types in there (mid-20s), but the programmers and leads I have met are generally in the 30s. Take a look at Peter Molyneux, for example, or John Carmack. They aren't exactly getting carded at bars.

27 here.

Thanks to the old geezer who posted that link to that song / flash anim...it all came flooding back. Especially the bit about peeks and pokes...man I used to go into Kmart computer section and wreak havok on the display machines with a few well timed peeks and pokes ;)

All you whipperschnappers will soon be our age and you'll STILL be playing games, don't you worry about that.

17 now, 18 in december.

and after saving for about a year, i went out and spent it on a new comp. doesnt stop family members using it though. :|

I don't get why people are POSTING their age, that's what the poll is for. Also, okay your 17 and A HALF...nobody asked. If your 17 and a half, your still 17. Pointless to post how old you are..just look at poll results.

31 y.o. am I. I'll start talking like Yoday pretty soon.

i am 17:)

18 in august.... first time im gonna be drinking legally :O

how do you make polls?

I'm 38, which may seem old to you, but remember people my age have been gaming since before some of you were born. My first computer was a commodore 64, which I had to load games up with a tape similar to an audio tape. Only took about 20 minutes if I recall, it was sooooo long ago.

Be thankful for guys like me, it is us that drive the develepmont of gaming rigs, as most teens cannot afford true gaming hardware.

hear! hear! my first "computer" was the texas instruments ti-99

I'm over 30 :)
