The argument is made that without accountability--as there would not be in atheism--there would be no reason not to steal and murder. This is a valid argument since atheism at its core is a belief in survival of the fittest evolution from stardust. There is no morality in stardust so there should be no morality in us. Further, if survival of the fittest is our primary law, then one should be free to behave however they like if it furthers their own selfish needs.
