Hello everyone!

My name is Timothy Sottek, and I am pioneering a modification for Half-Life 2 called "Anticitizen." Anticitizen is a continuation of the Half-Life 2 story that takes place in America. Here are some snippets from my temporary website:

"Anticitizen is a continuation of the Half-Life 2 story, taking place in the United States. As a patriot in a new age, it will be your responsibility to fight alongside fellow American rebels in overthrowing the Combine menace that is especially powerful and abusive in the former U.S.

Gameplay:

Players will fight alongside fellow rebels against a potent and challenging AI enemy in many different U.S. locations, including "Compound 57," A Black-Mesa style Combine research complex, New York City, and Washington D.C. Gameplay will be cooperative, however offline play will be available.

Gameplay will be objective based, and maps will be released in order of the master campaign. Once a map is completed, a logical progression to the next area of battle will occur.

Weaponry:

A plethora of various weapons will be available to rebel forces. All weapons utilized by the Combine will be useable, as well as many common weapons present in the United States, including the M4A1 Assault Rifle, the M16A2 Assault Rifle, the MP5 Sub Machine Gun, the AT-4 Anti-Vehicle Weapon, the M21 Sniper Rifle, the M-82 Barrett Rifle, the Beretta handgun, the Colt 1911 handgun, the Desert Eagle (.50 AE) handgun, the Glock handgun, and many more.
"

Think Sven Coop, with an original story line, and an emotional one at that.

If you are interested in working with me on the team, please give me an email ([email protected]), and include a resume of experience in your field. Talented mappers are a must, especially for the United States Capital project that will be in the final stages of the game.

Thanks!

Well, sounds interesting ;) a citadel standing in NYC or LA (ranging over the other skyscrapers) must be an impressive sight.

the Desert Eagle (.50 AE) handgun

Sorry to bother you with that, but I think the .44 or .357 Desert Eagles are more wide spread in the US (I strongly suppose, though I don't live there ;) .50AE is more used in hunting sports and therefore in midwest-states I think)
