Alyx (or any npc) not responding (sovled)
Hiya HL2 forum people. I got this game via an ATI 9600xt purchase as a perk and only now, a year later (involved with EQ/EQ2 :thumbs: ), actualy tried out HL2... Hooked line and sinker I'm keeping it, great game.
But I've run into a bug and need advice on the best way to undo it without losing my saves if that 's possable. And yes I have typed the title of this thread into more search engines than I can count to no availe before this post.
I'm in anticitizen one and Alyx just blew a door open (first I've seen her in a while), walked into the doorway, and stoped dead in her tracks and refuses to do anything else.
I think it's a buy because I've tried everything I could think of and she simply won't respond. First time through was with a team and I ended up killing all of them with the turrets in frustration, then I kill Alyx... that solved nothing.
So I restarted a new game from anticitizen one and came all the way through but lost the team (no wonder the planets in trouble with those fighters... they suck)... same thing she just stops. This time I commited suicide out of frustration heh.

I found this through a seemingly unrelated problem and figured I'd give it a try.
