Also, i believe that headcrabs were combine created, introduced to Xen previously, in the same way as they now are on earth.

Against that theory. C'mon man, you know they're native to Xen, didn't you hate fighting the little white underdeveloped headcrab babies that the gonarch spit out?

They certainly didn't arrive in canisters

In a vague attempt to find some hard headcrab-related evidence to l33tpwn all of your opinions, all i found was this previous thread:

So all i have is a renewed theory, that the current headcrabs we know and love are modified versions (by the combine) of the original headcrabs that inhabited. After changing them to have maximum effectiveness against humans (they are specialised to our cranial dimensions), they used them to attack earth. The reason we dont see any of the originals is because there was no point in keeping them alive.


also, hasn't this thread deviated from antlions enough to be locked by a mod?
