Any good new games out? DX9?

I just upgrade, but I realized I have nothing to play untill HL2 comes out Tuesday. Does anyone have any new games that are worth reccomending? I haven't purchased a game in about a month. I don't really see anything worth purchasing though...

I'm playing MoH... and I'm stuck on the outskirts of Sniper's Last Stand

it's too hard... I hate snipers so much, in this game... but as a WW2 experience I love it. :)

I count 6. But we may be at different resolutions. Even so, change it please.
 
In 1600x1200 is IS 4 LINES! I have had this signature for over a month, and No one has told me to change it ever. Are you at 640x480??
 
1280*1024

Having it at an extremely high resolution is no excuse! Please remove 2 lines.
 
The rule DOESN'T say at what resolution the 4 lines have to be! I see 4, so I am not breaking the rule!

Change it. The majority of people on this forum do not use 1600*1200 as their resolution, me included, so please remove the lines. I won't ask you again.

OK, so If a different moderater views page at 320x200 mine will STILL BE 10 lines long. WHAT THEN!??!?!?!? WHERE DOES THE INSANITY STOP?!!?!? THE RULE SAYS 4 LINES! AT WHAT RESOLUTION?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

The rule shall be 4 lines at 1240 x 1024 . :)

EDIT: Try Medal of Honour: Allied Assualt... it's a great experience :) or Tron 2.0
 
I don't know WHY people don't use 1600x1200. It makes viewing web pages SO easy. I can see 7 posts at the same time on a thread if they are normal size. It makes viewing of porn very easy also.

Me too, but instead I found out no one but me uses 1600x1200....

Are there any DX9 games out? I know Halo is going to be, but I am not sure if I will buy that...
 
Aquanox 2 is a major DX9 game.
They even have a bencmark to test , called Aquamark.

Then there's halo
Max payne II out soon. ...
 
Hmmmm.... DX9 none out at the moment. I heartily recommend the following: Tron 2.0, Conflict Desert Storm 2, Medal of Honour - Deluxe Edition, Galactic Civilisations (not really graphics intensive :p ) , Homeworld 2, Rise of Nations and Freedom Fighters

On that list Ill wait for Max Payne2 , I have the Aquamark.
 
Max payne doesn't come out till Oct 23... thats a month away..

I can't afford a new monitor after my vid card upgrade so im stuck in 15" 1024x768
 
most people have a 17" monitor (or a 15") and the native res for a 17" or recomeded is 1024*768, when you get up to a 19" (thats made by a good company) then 1600*1200 becomes the recomded res. (15" is 800*600 recomended) not to say those size mointers can't get higher, but they genearlly look best at the recomended settings. (my 17" can go up to 1280*1024, but max refresh rate is only 66hz at that, and becuase the physicaly screen size is only 17" looks like crap.
 
Those extra 2 lines will really make the loading time for those 56kers horrible ;)

Thanks guys. I just realized I never bought Raven Shield because my old system kinda lagged on it. I went and got me a copy today. I love Co-Op online.
