Any good single player missions/mods while we're waiting for EP2?

I've been on a quest the past couple days to find and play good HL2 mods and/or mission packs that tell a story or have a decent objecting but I'm coming up empty handed so far. Mostly because there's really no way of knowing until you download them all and play them.

So I come to you for help. If you know of any high quality single player missions/maps that enhance the single player aspect of HL2 I'd love to know about it. Even a single player mod would be great to bide the time.

Thanks all. I'll definitely have a look at these. I'm an old-timer in the HL2 community from way back (Think the days of JBmod) and with the Orange Box release looming (and my subsequent displeasure at the absence of the black box) I'm looking to do something community related with these finds.

Any other Source mods you can recommend?

the fakefactory cinematic mod is excellent. its a huge download but its worth it.

i recommend a good pc though. close to my specs i have now.

Get Riot Act and Ravenholm.

The only two mods where you have citizen arms.

I'm sure i deselcted something called Peggle Extreme on steam, maybe when i was downloading TF2 beta. Weird that it's thrown in there with no mention of what it is.

I'm creating a SP mod atm. I can't wait for you all to play it and enjoy it..

I have seen and played many mods which are fun, So i hope mine will do the same.

I have been working on it for over a yr now with story boarding and laying out maps.

I will bring loads of info and movie clips soon

I recently checked out Minerva, and stumbled upon "someplace else...", which is connected to minerva.

That was one of the best (though short) maps, i have played.
There was something about it, that made it really good.

Mind you, it's for the original Half Life

Das Roboss was a very entertaining SP mod with a good play time and it's HL1 Black Mesa feel (but it is a HL2 mod)
