Besides Ninja Gaiden, Prince of Persia, Onimusha, Otogi, Devil May Cry, Dynasty Warriors, Genji, Seven Samurai 20XX and God of War, I was thinking of some sleeper hits. If you know any sword fighting games from Japan that haven't made their way to the North American markets on the PC, please list them. I am really bored. Do not list Bujingai, that game is really weird.

Die By The Sword wasn't TOO horribly bad. I enjoyed chopping off the arms and legs of the pigs.

Rune.
Without a doubt...and the multiplayer expansion Halls of Valhalla...
Pity that the servers that are still running, are laggy as hell.
I mean connection wise.

Severance: Blade of Darkness

I liked the fighting system and even has decent graphics for today's standards (reflective water, dynamic shadows).

old but an awesome game. It was one of the first games i owned with real time shadows and physics. On a 450Mhz and a Voodoo 3000 it isnt bad at all.

EDIT: Dammit PvtRyan u beat me to it but that just proves its a great game

Thanks guys, do you know any from Japan or any with a medieval Japanese theme? I would've liked Onimusha on the PC.

+
Tenchu
Those were on the PC, are you sure?

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.... I know, it's not swords, but the lightsaber combat is awesome and I love the level of control you have over your movements, and you get force powers too, so even better

Die By the Sword was so damn fun when it came out. The sword can be so clumsy but I was amazed by it when it came out. I remember near the beginning you get strung up by your leg from a trap and you just dangle there until you manage to cut the rope. Cutting the rope would be a simple task if there weren't a bunch of bad guys after you.

I remember one time I got strung up and when I was trying to get down I chopped off two of the bad guys' heads by accident :p

I'd reccomend Zelda, but you wouldn've played it already if it interested you.

If you are interested though, see if you can track down a second hand N64 with one of the two Zeldas, they are both masterpieces.

*Goes and plays Zelda:OoT on his pc*

i don't get what u mean, u want japs 3d action games on pc right ?? like those big titles made by capcom and other...well there are chaos legions, onimusha 1 and dynasty warrior 3 on pc. If there are other, i would like to know too.

U guys know messiah and oni, u can give them a try even it's a bit too old and the graphics suck comparing to today's game.

What about KOTOR1/2, i know they're RPGs but you can use swords in them and not just lightsabers. Great games...

These games sound interesting, but I'm still interested in learning about Onimusha for the PC.
Thanks for the help, guys.
