Where at exactly do I go in my computer to find out what's in my computer? I was just wondering what my mobo is exactly (all I know is P4800/DDR400) and what brand my mem. is...oh and where I see bios at...

Also, can someone explain this to me in full detail? I want to get a DVD/CD-r/CD-RW combo but I don't exactly understand what all the 16x and 56x24x4 stuff is....can someone help?

And any idea when the new series of vid-cards are coming out?

get a 52x24x52 CD-RW and a 16x DVD those are the best

id say in about the next month or 2 for the vid cards

you can see bios by pressing "del" early in the boot sequence.

onto burners/dvds:
a 20x12x50 would write to cdrs at 20x, write to cdrws at 12x, and read cds at 50x.

dvd players are almost universaly 16x now, so that doesnt mater that much.

And to see what's in your computer (this varies a bit between windows versions but you should be able to figure it out.)

Right click on "My Computer" and go to Properties

Look for a "hardware" or "device manager" tab.

If you have a hardware tab look for device manager in there, if not you should already be looking at it.
