Any n00b pointers? n00b in need!

OK when I bring up the weapons selection all I get is the screen with the nades and armor, I can't figure out how to get to the weapons like shotties, rifles etc...

So far I'm liking CS:S but the load out selection is none too intuitive... thanks in advance!

Basicly bind a key to BUY WEAPON and buy a weapon via it.

Try not to spray around, but don't take the time perfectly align your shots. Both will et you killed pretty quickly


Crouching when shooting helps too

hold shift to walk, most n00bs run n ppl hear the footsteps, so be sure to walk especially in open areas like tunnel in dust. also wen aiming and walking, holding shift will slightly improved ur aim, although crouching is better, u dnt always need proper shots, but avoid sprayage. Oh & set a quick change button so u can switch between primary n secondary weapons n case of shortage of ammo/reload.

Short controlled bursts, two or three rounds, sidestep, repeat till your target drops.

dont run all the time. when u hear a fire fight near you walk towards it then take aim and fire.

follow team mates (they normally know what they are doing)

when u see the enermy dont stand still and fire. move around. go back to a corner...or even run bk to a corner....hide...then wait for him ((well dont wait that long. wait 10-30 seconds.)) then move on.

Oh and more importantly use your side-arm whenever you don't have time to reload

press f10, it gives you god mode, infinte ammo, and spawns naked alyx's that give you lap dances.

In your keyboard menu in options you need to assign a key to Menu also, not just Equipment Menu. Pressing the Menu button will then enable the weapons list (pistols, shotties, rifles etc). Equipment menu is for grenades and defuse kits and all that.

:naughty: Aim upper, head. Dur. If you wanna be And1 with and be tricked out n stuff, bust a jump while you shoot then crouch too right after. Or crouch then jump. Weapons of choice is usually the M4, Ak-47. Nades and flashbangs HELP!

This is your problem, you're using the "BUY equipment" menu, not the "BUY" menu.

If you are getting shot at from behind or a blind spot, jump and turn quickly - you sometimes get enough time to take them out.

you have to have money to buy weapons too, gte money by winning the round, killing ppl, or rescue hostages or destroy bomb site
