Any part of Half Life 2 puts you off playing it again?

Thats what i was about to say. I found the sewers more scary then ravenholm.

You're right, that is one of my 'I can't be arsed' moments. The worst bit is getting lost, though. I do like the sniper bit afterwards, though.

Once I left Ravenholm (or on the outskirts as Prima says), I felt a big sense of relief. Literally. But, as I played it a second time, I knew I had that long Highway 17 chapter ahead of me.
Also, who ever said that when you get to the horse bit, and you exit, I do the same. I dont know why, I just do. :afro:

You used a prima guide for half life 2? I never used one I never needed one.

Lets see what parts put me off? Well, Highway 17(except the bits where you check out the houses), Sand Traps, Nova Prospect that part where you have to use those three turrets, probably the most damn annoying part in the entire game, and last but not least the long boring pod rides in the Citadel. I usually just quit after the "get to the horse" section.

Highway 17, the car gets boring after a while and the loading times are ****ing long at this level (and there are much loading points there). Well, at least the bridge part is cool.

Every super gravity gun level is boring for me now. Ok, in EP1 it's more interesting because I can do more than throwing combines around there. I mean, if I wanted to throw combines around all the time, I would simply start GMOD and play with some ragdolls man. I just want firefights, you know? Bam bam, you like these magnum bullets, Mr. Combine Soldier, sir? Oh, a poison zombie, eat my secondary-fire shotgun! Oh noes, lots of zombies, time for hoppers, grenades and that stuff. Argh Blackheadcrab, taste my crowbar alien scum! I know Alyx, I ONLY do great shots, what do you mean with "He's gonna blow us!"? Shit, zombine with.. *can't reach button for gravity gun*BOOM *redscreen* argh..... Not this zap!zap! Fight over crap.

I enjoy most of the game, but two parts I disliked first time around and haven't played again: 1) the sewers in Anticitizen One [friggin' creepy] and 2) Sandtraps pre-pheropod [really really annoying].

I hated Sandtraps until the assualt on Nova Prospekt and onwards. Some parts were too much like Highway 17, and I hated jumping between rocks.
