Every time i shawe (sp?) it feels like im peeling the skin of my face. Also, afterwards when i wash everything off, it feels like someone is poking me with needels. The pain is undescribable. And when i start bleeding (always) i have to use that ****ing salt stick to burn the ****ing flesh so it will stop bleeding.

This is crazy, i cant believe im going through this pain just to "look good". Is it anything im doing wrong????

Being a gamer is hard...cuz i sit all weekend letting the beard grow out so i have a shitload of beard to shawe on sundays.

Pissing me off

Try changing your razor blades, and use a shaving gel..

I don't know of anyone with a similiar problem.

You've either got incredibly sensitive skin and should see a doctor, or are doing something completely wrong and should see a shrink.

Best thread summary ever :)

The only problem I have when I shave is that the skin where I shaved the hair gets a little itchy. Other than that, no problems. I think it's your razors, and you should switch it for a better one that doesn't damage your skin. Old razors can be a real bitch to your skin and they won't often shave the hair right. So new razor for you.

what the hell do you shave with, a sword?

No, it sounds more like he's shaving with a cheese grater.

Dude ... it's not that big of a deal. Soak face in warm water, apply gel, run blade over face, rinse ... done. Change the blade when needed. That's it.

Either you have some sort of dermatological problem or MiccyNarc hit the nail on the head.

Have you been using the same razor blade for a year? Is it all brown and rusty?

right now I'm trying to figure out how one could spell "shave" as "shaw"

is that a term in the UK or something?

In any case, shave with the grain, use shaving cream and use a clean razor. Cleaning your face with a hot towel also helps.

If none of that works, use an electric razor.

Or is he using an old fashioned naked blade and just tearing his skin off :O

Dont press on your face with 100 thousand pounds of pressure. Its a razor... it will cut with very little pressure applied.

I havent had this problem before but i started using a new kind of gell. The ones before were just white straight out of the bottle but this is just...blue gell which turns into white when you put it on ur face. Ever since i started using this ive had this pain. It seems like i might have some alergic reaction to it :/

I change blades but idk how often i should do it. I do it about once every 3rd weeks or so. Il guess i have to change the gell i use, i also might get an electric rasor. Are those any good? Heard that they kinda suck...

Ah it probably is a problem with the Gel then, go back to what you used before (sounds like shaving foam not gel) and try that my good man :)

I never cut myself and shave in the shower without a mirror ..get yourself a good razor (no bic crap) and good foam ..also water should be hot (when done use cold water to rinse)

Is that something bad? Do I need to get a new one? Mine says lifetime guarantee! Well, of course it says it in Chinese, but that's besides the point.

The only pain I get is aftershave. :O

Mind you, I don't shave often. My girlfriend, she likes the hair, yes? :naughty:

ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THE CHINESE PRODUCE POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS?!

Racist ****

you're supposed to lather the gel into foam on your face/hands. Not just lightly apply it.

You might as well be shaving dry if that's what you're doing.

Change your blades way more often than once a month man.

edit: unless you only shave every once in a while. I shave at least once a day usually twice if I'm going anywhere later on that night. try an electric razor too.

lol!

are you black? black people tend to have problems shaving due to the coarsness of the hair

I don't understand how he can honestly spell it shaw. I would think it's knghenry except he has a lot of posts.

This is the razor that I use... and this is the shaving foam that I use.

How exactly can shaving be THAT hard?...
Unless of course you're letting the beard grow out... where crumbs get caught in it... in which case you should use an electric shaver.
