Anyone else completed HL2

Has anyone noticed how easy it is to complete HL2 the hardest part i found was Ravenholm part, and before people say it was on hard difficulty and i completed it in about 23 hours
 
No mate, you're the first to finish, well done! Just give the rest of us a couple of weeks, we're getting there. Don't spoil the ending for us please!

yea.. its easy but the 20-25 hours feel preety long and i think that the most difficut part was the part wit all the lasers in the room around the end of the game. It took me a long time to figure it out. lol

dude that was piss, like Xens jumping puzzles but for newborns...haha see what i did there? it was a joke? :) ah well forget it...
 
You people all suck; i'm still stuck on that can-throwing puzzle in the train station. I'm hoping to put it in the trash can any day now!

do I have to put it into my dvd drive?
am I close to the ending?

I never finished it. I waited for like five seconds in the train, but the doors never opened, so I uninstalled it.

I havn't actully finished it, last time i got to C17...wanted to start it again. I kinder get side tracked and start trying find bugs (also playing css hl2mp and making levels)...as soon as i work up the motivation i'll try to finish it....again

I had to grenade jump the last set. I'm not sure what I was supposed to do. And I did finish it. Once you finish it, you look back, and you realize this is the best goddam single player game you've ever played.
 
I was stuck in that can part and kept getting that:

SUBJECT: GORDON FREEMAN
STATUS: TERMINATED

GORDON CANT THROW A CAN INTO THE TRASH


I kept getting that whenever I would throw a chair or the combine himself into the rubbish bin, or trash can as you Americans would call it...

Forum potatoes are indeed a fine snack- just be wary, for too much flaming will ruin the flavour.

Since most everybody has completed the game now, you're bound to see things like speedrun attempts and sarcastic forumite attacks, it's what we do to pass the time afterwards. On that note, I've spent fully two-hundred hours playing this game thus far- the puzzles are just so challenging and time consuming. Currently, I'm trying to find out what I'm meant to do when that plug comes out of the teleportation machinery and I'm told to replace it. I can't figure out what to do with it.
 
omg i cant beat the game cuz like on the last level theres an explosion at the end wer aylex seys to excapey! wtf ARGG i have to restart that map liek 59 times lolololololjk
 
Why can't I play HL2? I put the disc inside, and nothing happens! Do I need a new toaster?
 
You people take 20-23 hours to beat the game? Holy crap. I'd say it took me 12-15 hours the first go-around. But that was on medium difficulty. Nonetheless, I don't see how hard could add 5-9 more hours.
 
we were supposed to beat it? i've been throwing trash at combine soldiers in the train station for the past two months. :imu:
 
Finished it in 6 days

wonderful game. hardest part was in the prison for me. soooo many enemies. awesome game. can't wait till someone releases some mods for it. HALFLIFE 2 ROCKS
