Anyone else have this weird font problem?

With the last update, all the weapon/item icons in the hud changed to letters. In fact, everything in the HUD has changed except for the "Suit" and "Health". Even the crosshair has changed!!! WTF?? Anyone else experience this?

This is caused by having a font named halflife2 (or something like that).

Rename or remove the font.

It's pretty cool, all the neat icons n such are just fonts, there's a few in there that weren't even used in HL2, check it out.

there was a "half life" font available on the net a while ago, it was really just ariel or something with the lamba logo as the "A" - i had this on my pc when i installed HL2, and for some reason it decided to use that font for the game instead of the half life 2 font that was installed when HL2 was installed - just go to your c/windows/fonts directory and find the halflife.ttf file and delete it, this should solve your problem...
