Anyone getting Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword?

Krynn, do you have it on the "automatically save when quiting" setting or something? Why don't you just load up a save after you got yourself screwed?

I dont play with that setting on, but I play as if I do. The only time I use it is when trying something completely suicidal that I wouldn't do normally, just to see if I could. Also, the last time I saved that character was like an hour and a half before the first capture.

Raz, Mount and Musket is probably the most fun I've ever had with Mount and Blade. The biggest match I played was 150 people I think and it was just fun as hell.

...bayonets are a little overpowered though and you can't hit shit with your musket unless you're damn lucky

I am having an absolute blast with the multiplayer. You guys who own it... especially you Krynn... give it a shot. You might enjoy it. I recommend starting with one of the siege servers to start with. There's a nice 64 player server that's in the US so it has good pings. I get 30-40 in it. Only one really populated Battle server, but that's also a load of fun I think. You get so much practice in the various ways to kill and be killed... and I'm really starting to improve in melee ability, even though some of those guys on there are beasts when it comes to blocking and being aggressive. And being an infantrymen facing off against enemy infantrymen and riflemen is a load of fun. A lot of stuff has to be taken into consideration on each given approach... and sometimes you're just royally ****ed especially if you don't have a pistol.
