i'm off to york saint john uni in york, division of leeds

i should be nervous but i'm not

how about YOOOOOU?

I've been in college for a week now, and I have to say, it's a huge transition from high school. Of course, I don't have the full experience, since I'm still living at home.

Good luck with your studies.

There's nothing to get too antsy over. At least it hasn't been that way for me.

I just really don't care for meeting new people on my own.

The full transition hasn't been made for me yet. I figure I'll have another week or two until I start missing all my old buds and start getting depressed.

Mine starts in a week, and im living 2 hours away from home so it should be pretty awesome.

I'm going 19th Sept to Dortmund, Germany.

I too should be nervous, but I'm not :bounce:

i had to defer at xmas last year from my course in UCD(University College Dublin)
coz of illness so i start back again in 2 weeks which sorta sucks as i'd like to have gotten my 1st year over with, oh well...FRESHERS BALL FTW THOUGH!!!!!!!!!

My mate goes there, i went up there once and met linford christie at your ace athletic ground. Check out the club called 'Echo', it ain't bad, fulla nice birds too.

I'm just about to start my second year of uni at middlesbrough, the first year was amazing, i was nervous until about an hour after i got there, i had to adjust pretty quick as i was thrown into a little room to share and live with someone i'd never met before...best thing was that i lived in halls, so i met everyone on my floor, which is 20 odd people, then the floor above, and below, and through them you meet their mates from their courses etc and you end up with a whole shedload of new mates. Too many infact :)

Just finished Uni this summer and uncertain where my future lies so far...

Im off on the 23rd...so no im not going in a few weeks time, me=win. More time to slob around :D

Start back again on the 6th of October. I can't wait to go back, miss it loads!

Don't worry too much about starting, you are all in the same boat. Ignore the know-it-all people, they are annoying. Don't be a recluse, but don't put yourself about too much. Have a break if you need it. Don't be scared to ask about anything. You may get a look of "what, you don't know that?", but it's better to find out then still be in the dark.

I started last week at the University of Florida and it's been going pretty well so far. It's kind of a shock at first, being hours away from home, separated from most everyone you know, and forced to live in a what amounts to a closet with someone you've never seen before, but I'm getting used to it.

The freedom is amazing, though. Classes haven't really cranked up yet, so I have so much free time I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm going to Uni on the 18th of September - can't fooking wait :) :D :D :D

Meeting loads of new people and new nightlife = the win :)

Looking forward to the social aspects though.

Off to Bournemouth Uni at the end of September. Goin be doing computer animation. Hopefully it will kick-start my (currently fictional) career in videogames

Wow, exactly the course and place I intend to go next year. Can I ask what you took for A levels and what grades you got?
I'm doing Physics, Maths, History and ICT, aiming for C,C,C,B.

I'll come out in Newcy and Durham a bit I think :)

:D

Durham is like Lincoln, Newcastle was quite daunting (really should have gone more, but there is always this year!)
