Anyone really trying to avoid spoilers?

I know I am, this is the first game I've ever been extremely careful not to spoil, it would really suck if I did. Usually other games like Doom 3 , farcry, painkiller, I didn't care if I got an ending spoiler but HL2 I want to experience with no spoilers at all.

I'm not too worried one way or the other, but it would be nice to finish it without already knowing the story.

Well, I read some spoilers from the HL2worlds forum, the had scans of the strategy guide, altough I stoped before I discovered the big things. I mean some game I know from the beginning to the end before I even own them... So, I try to avoid spoilers as much as possible right now when we are so close.

Yep I do. The G-man, Alyx and Gordon end up in a love triangle and will appear on the Jerry Springer show because the G-man wants to tell them he is in love with Eli.

I've read pretty much all of the Prima Strategy Guide, but it's no big deal, really. I still can't wait to actually play it.

I try to avoid any spoilers. Really excited that it'll be out in just a few days. I want to play the game and figure stuff out meself and not through spoilers.

I one thing i can tell you is that at the end of the game you'll be as cluless as you are now about hte G-man. Nothing new is revieled in the game about his identity or hi srelationship to gordon.

I do everything possible to avoid spoilers, I do everything possible to avoid making up a hl2 story line in my head...

Avoid spoilers at all costs - they *must* affect your enjoyment of the game, no surprises. Sure it will still be good, but not as good as if you go into it with no knowledge at all.

Spoilers are bad.
