You think Deus Ex's story was complex? Lol.
Maybe you should pick up a book once in a while.

Like always, Magnetichead comes out looking like an idiot. Haha.. yeah. Books. Tell me my man, did you ever thought that books are total different medium? It is almost like when you comparing movies and books, and 99% books are always better. Deus Ex has complex story line for a game, and you still can’t tell me why it sucks. Shows how much ignorance you have. Same with people who jump all over Doom III, even if they know shit about a game. Learn something first.

Or maybe youre showing YOUR ignorance by jumping on the deus ex rules bandwagon. Learn something first.

- Shows Deus Ex 2 settings, how fast world changed in 15 years.

- Gives idea what ending was chosen in the first one. System didn’t collapse.

- Also shows how progress of technology can endanger our survival. Did you see how one guy was able to destroy whole city, just with one small capsule.

- Shows some key character, like Billie Adams, chick with glowing eyes. If you read inscription on her door, you can see 'Trainee D', which can mean that there are bunch of clones of her. Also there is a scientist, who sounds a lot like Simon. If you remember first game, there was a clone of him at Area 51.

- As any intro should, it doesn’t reveal too much of the story, only adds more questions, grabs you in. At least it grabbed me, I can’t wait for this game to come out.

- Gives you idea how wars will be fought in the future. It does make more sense, I mean if you have technology, why bother using soldiers? It will be a invisible war.
It shows one city, an american city, so I dont know if thats entirely correct. It also doesnt really show much change. Infact after just watching the vid again, the only thing I see thats changed is that robots fly now isntead of walking/rolling
So they have infact thrown away the whole point of chosing an ending? So the surposed free choice in DE1 was pointless now?
This is the same kind of point as the first one so my points still stand there again, also, the capsule in design is still pretty similar to the ambrosia tanks from the first games.
Clones? Where did you grab that from? Lol. Last time I checked clones wernt born augmented, you also didnt see more than one of her so I think the clone thing is a bit of a blind grab at ideas. Its far more likly that they are just a 'cell of individuals' that happen to be newly auged agents.
Adds more questions? can i ask what questions you had both before and after seeing the trailer.
Destroying a city and everyone in it isnt really a clean OR invisable war now is it.

Let's be serious here though. Mr.Magnetichead is being a pure troll in this thread. Anything DeusEx2 is, he'll find some reason to hate it, no matter how irrational or nonsensical. Tell him that the game picked one direction instead of the other, and he'll say it was a stupid choice: tell him that actually they did the other, he'll say, wait, not THAT's the stupid choice. He's just posting to piss people off.

That is absolutly rediculous.
Nano bots would never be able to move that fast. If that really is the answer im gonna write a letter to Warren Specter asking him if I can buy some pot off him.
