Anyone think the crosshair sucks?

It's hard to see in some bright areas, and it's too cluttered. Anyone know how to mod it? I would like to have a tiny cross or maybe even a dot.

I don't like the crosshair info feature that much. Again, for the reason that it clutters up the view too much and gets in the way of what you're trying to aim at.

Well, its similar to almost every fps out there, save for the ones who adopted the "counter-strike style" of open crosshairs.

I dont have any trobal seeing in bright areas sure your moniter isnt to bright? Anyway i like the xhair. Life ammo info on sides is sweet.

if you don't like the info on the sides, you can turn it off in the options menu.

When do you see life and ammo info on the sides of the crosshairs? I'm just in the canals now, so maybe you need to progress further...i had seen it in screenshots and the like, but don't have it ingame.

Yea I know you can switch off the info, but it still leaves those little curly things on the side of the crosshair.

BTW, it's a good sign when all one has to complain about the game is the crosshair . Although I really really wish there was more magnum ammo.

ascii, go to options->mouse, I think the option is quick info or something like that.

hehe yup, sign of a good game, people are really struggling to find things to complain about. I mean some dude the other day was complaining abou t how he needed to keep the cd in the drive to play. whats up with that?
Or that other guy who complained about he 20 sec loading times between areas. Its the nature of the internet to complain, people are really reaching now when it comes to this game I guess.

Anyone else notice strange things when enabling console from launch properties or from the options? When i do it from the launch properties, i don't get a dynamic map as the background - just a very blurry picture. When i enable it from the options, i loose my HUD completely, and the show HUD command in the console doesn't work.

I hear ya, that and more Pulse Rifle (overwatch machine gun) ammo/carrying capacity.

I LOVE that gun.. it just feels so powerful, and the sounds are perfect.

however theres nothing more satisfying than blowing the headcrab clean off the shoulders of some zombie
