Anyone tried paintballing?

Yesterday I went out with my buddy and my brother paintballing. It's great fun! Way better than playing video games in my opinion. Instead of running around in a monitor shooting stuff you do it for real! I'm not a total gun nut or anything but I thought it was an enjoyable sport. Some guys at the paintball course/battlefield or w/e you want to call it were serious like some of those hardcore counter-strike players and they focus on team-work and tactics. It's kind of like being in a real battle except you don't actually get hurt. It sounds kind of weird but you actually worry and panic when you and your team gets shot at. A cool expierence.

I've been a ton of times.

Once I played at my mom's bosses friends farm, with a bunch of her coworkers (we're like, all friends) and the other times it was at this outdoor arena near the airport.

I gotta say, the farm was much more fun. It was a combination of hillsides, small forests, and open fields. It was so much fun setting up ambushes and shit.

The arena stuff just felt like real life CS. Not much fun at all basically.

But god, I remember in the farm game, both flags were on these two hillsides, and the battlefield was in the middle. So me and my friend/mom's coworker were camping the flag, and I was at the bush right at the flag. He stood up and goes "TAYLOR! WE GOT SOMEBODY COMMNIG UP ON THE RIG..." PATACK! He got nailed in the face, and the ball went up under his mask

So then this guy runs up to grab our flag, doesn't see me, dives all matrix style and goes "OH SHIT!" sprays me, and I nail him right in the balls

It's like paintball, except you shoot small plastic balls from replicas of real guns.

I think we should replace the balls with smaller paintballs, if that's possible.

Paintball is great fun. I went sneaked into their back one time (going along the fence on the side) and started 'sniping' everybody.

But then someone who got hit in the neck got mad and hit me in the balls from ten meters.

I also got hit from one meter in the leg. It hurts, trust me.

Went paintballing yesterday infact, was damn fun, from the start, legged it to behind a tree right by the enemies, they were all hiding behind barrels pointed at where the rest of my team was, there were 3 of them that I could clearly see, all sitting together, I just pop around from the tree, and let loose about 20 balls right at them. Was hillarious watching them flinch as they got smacked around.

I tried it once and didn't like it much. Mostly I just hid behind one of those things that serve as cover all the time, and every thirty seconds or so, I would turn and shoot blindly at the enemy. I didn't dare charge forward, because I saw people shot, orange ink splattered against their head, yelling in pain, and that didn't exactly entice me to leaving myself vunerable to attacks.

I played once, it was great fun, but I got tired quickly because of the mask, preventing me from breathing deeply

And I don't know why, but when I was hit, it didn't hurt me almost at all. I didn't get any bruises. Maybe because we got these jeans army-style jackets.

I've been paintballing once (on my 13th birthday). It's hella fun and much more of an adrenaline rush than CS will ever be. Got shot in the back of the head though and said 'SHIT' right infront of my dad, which he didn't like. So I said "You try getting shot in the back of the head and not swearing!"

I wanna go again though and act like a proper CS kiddy. "OMFG whERE's Tha AK!?!?"

Well no one I know is interested in going for one. Second I have very limited funds due to buying stuff for uni and saving for freshers week.. so I can get nicely wasted...

And third... Its on the 24th... I'm not even sure there is still time to sign up.

Paintballed twice, I almost hit about 3 people. Though, I was using a lil' pump pistol at the time since everyone else took the other guns.
I've never got hit though, everything bounces off of me with my jacket, nothing explodes.

Yeah, awesome fun. Me and my friends went not that long ago, and it was great fun. My friend's a twin, so his brother brought all his friends as well, and we split off into two teams. Seems like I have a natural headshot aim now, since a lot of my confirmed "kills" were shots straight to the neck.

We were a bit short on numbers though, so we bought along my friend's sisters too. One of them scared the shit out of me when we were having a close rangeish duel from behind two haystacks. I moved around from my position and took aim, but she got there first and put a shot right next to my right testicle. I was nearly too terrified to move at that point, after that.

I did some real Solid Snake moves in the heavy woods though. Creeping under the bushes, I moved round the back of one of their groups, crawling on my chest through the bushes. I picked them off and they never even saw where I was shooting from. Awesome feeling of macho there!

But yes, I've been 3 times, and we're going again in about 3 weeks.

I've only been once, and it was awesome. Funny story, I was lying down, crawling by some bushes when a guy pops up from behind a barrel and fires a few paintballs at me. Now, because I was lying down, they hit me in the face. One hit on the visor and the other on the mouth-plate, thus going into my mouth. Yeah, that stuff does not taste good. Other than that though, good times.

Yup once and loved it.

We had no padding as such just overalls, when we were shop we had to stand up put our hand above our head and walk of the pitch to the bunker.

This girl got shot, and just stood up and casually walked to the side, on the way, people didnt relise she was shot as she didnt have her hands up. She was seriously dropped by about 4 guys all going boom boom boom left knee, boom in the arm, boom in the chest, boom in the face again.

She was like 17 and fell down and started crying, awesome times.

On the first round our team of about 8 started a plan, and me and another guy were tasked to sneak round thru the denser forest bit and flank them, we ended up pinned behind a wood palet, pretty much surrounded, they had the same plan apperntly. I got shot twice in the back, and it just knocked me down, it really hurt.

I soo want to go again.

Yeah, there are some nice moments in paintball. Like encountering an enemy and taking turns firing a few shots and getting cover again, while the enemy's bullets rush above your head. Once I left the battlefield because I thought I was shot, but it turned out the ball didn't explode Once I got "teamkilled" I was lying in the bushes, when suddenly my teammate crawls behind me. I look back, we are both like "wtf?" and he shoots me straight in my face so the paint gets through my mask and I feel the taste of it in my mouth. He thought I'm the enemy, because the only thing that he could distinguish me by, was a white armband all our teammates had, and I was lying on it

when i went i rushed in the castle after shooting 3 guys and realised the whole team were hiding inside. i got shot about 25 times, ran outside fell on the floor, and my own team started shooting me, LOL. painful

When I was playing with a few friends, at the end, when we were short on ammo, we played this civil-war style (or whatever) game, where you stand in a row in front of each other (like 20m or so), one guy gives the mark and everybody shoots. The ones that are hit get off the battlefield, the rest takes a step forward and so on, until one team is eliminated (or both). So after we played that, some ppl still had their ammo and they started shooting themselves in from close distance in the back etc. While nobody got any bruises in the proper battle, those shooting each other earned some while fooling around

Heh, went with my sister and her work friends a while ago. I made a run towards a bridge thing, and there were 3 guys defending it. I dodged most the paint coming at me, but had to slow down cause my trousers were falling down and I got hit as I dived. To get to the deadzone I had to cross another bridge, which was defended by the other team. Had my gun in the air, walked onto the bridge, and my sister and her friend lit me up point blank, lmao. Hit on my arm, chest, neck, etc...still haven't got her back for that

At our local site we get an awful lot of girls who play one game, get scared and sit out the rest of the day. It doesn't hurt that bad, jeez

Allthough when I went a girl who I only just managed to convince it was a good idea to come along thanked me because she enjoyed shooting some of the guys so much :E - Shes a wicked one her....
