Yup that subject should get people reading this..
also it may get people thinking this could turn into some SPAM or pyramid scam..
but its none of those..
But it could get you some $$..!
I'm Pretty sure If I asked someone here to make me a simple character model, that someone would rise to the challenge..
but why just ask..
I'll send you $ if you make me the model, I dont want any complex character..
What I was is a very VERY generic low LOW poly model of a Person, un-sexed.. no defining characteristics of man or female.. just a body...
With appropriate poly configuration to allow for simplistic character animation ( walking/dancing.. )
I seriously want low poly.. These models will be only viewable within halflife2 from an approximate distance of 15 feet to 20 feet away , behind glass. in a "club" atmosphere.. and will be having dance animations attached..
I want it low poly , because I plan on adding 10 to 15 of them in the club visible from a skylight in the roof and from a window on the upper side of the building.
So if your up for it, This is what is required..
**3dsmax file**
A Character mesh that is appropriately made for animation purposes,
facial details not required.
Appropriately Mapped and ready for skinning,
Preferrably skeleton ready ( biped/physiqued or Bones )
LOW Poly ( I would think under 800 poly is sufficient but I would like it as low as possible while still being appealing to look at.. )
So if you are interested in taking on this project for me, reply to this forum & send me a private email.
I will offer $$ for this only because I want to have something in my hands relatively soon, so I may start animating/skinning.
and I think good work deserves some payback.
Feel free to tell me how much you feel you deserve for your modelling work.
Ive got no problem offering competative rates for your model in comparrison to commercial prices...
(models can range from $10 to $100's depending on their complexity... obiously this is on the lower end of the scale.. we're not talkin jurrasic park dino's or anything)..
