Anyway to use Hammer without logging in?

Anyone know of a possible way around this?

I have a legal copy, but currently living in China I cannot login to Steam half the time. I'm falling behind in my mapping.

Is there any other way I can use the Hammer editor, as I cannot login due to internet problems?

If I can get it going, I'll start posting all my shi!t and thoughts.

You should be able to use hammer by logging in in offline mode (Log out of steam, then click log in in ofline mode")

Make a shortcut to it on your desktop. I've found this to work on my machine as long as I did not try to use sourcesdk from the play games menu after launching it.

See my STEAM is weird though.

It will say STEAM cannot login in Offline mode due to the fact that theres no user information stored on this PC. I'm not sure why.

BIG, I've tried running the .exe and it says Cannot run, not logged into STEAM.

heh ok. Well as a side benefit other than actually working without Steam - it won't load up that annoying SDK box you can't downsize if you just run the .exe while logged into Steam
