It's the exact same story that was posted about 3D Realms and DNF, about it preparing us for "alien life" when in fact it's just that the boys over at 3DR are usng all the budget to download obscene amounts of porn.

In a old pc gamer mag they said that valve was working with the government. Even tho this is probably taking it to far its simply a interesting story.
