Application Error

I just recently updated my Half Life 2. As soon as I updated the program it boots up and I get to the home screen where i can choose new game or load game and all that. Well when I click on load game it sits for a bit and then an Application error comes up and says


"This instruction at "0x241f94f7" referenced memory at "0x0d89f41c". The memory could not be "read".
Click OK to terminate"

Umm I don't know if this is talking about RAM or what! I opened my pc up and checked to see if my ram was plugged in all the way and it was...

any clue?

yes. i tried restarting and reinstalling! same error..

how would u solve this shasta!! (also I know me and you both got a warning for our posts so im appologising (sp) about it. I was just being immature and all that!? accepted?)
