Last week me and my freind played Full Throttle and almost beat it( its not very long). He told me that Lucas Arts cancelled the second one:(
Too bad, I would have liked to played it.
Yep. Just a few weeks before they cancelled Sam&Max2.
I find it a bit hard to believe that two sequels to two of the best adventure games ever could both be bad enough that LucasArts would want to cancel both and pretend it was a money issue so as not to lose their good reputation.
So I just reckon it was them being money-grabbing bastards. After all the appalling drivel they've sloshed out with the name of StarWars, I doubt quality over profit is much of an issue of theirs.

Is Prince of Persia considered an adventure game? Or is it more of an action adventure genre? I was really thinking of Myst when you said 'adventure'.

I would rather go with Action Adventure as far as the last PoP is concerned. For the first 2 games I would only describe them as platform action - never played Pop3 ...

By the way, anyone remember "Sanitarium"? I thought this was a great adventure, but totally underrated!
