Are different forums being assigned valve people?

I noticed that another forum (think it was halfliferadio) has had Erik Johnson, we have been adopted by Greg Coomer, Gabe has just been posting on another website.

What's with that? Are they divying out places to keep in contact with or is it just a bizarre coincidence?

Anyone's thoughts?

My (Hopefully) guess is that because they are nearing release and the actual design process is finished (They are just changeing relatively simple things now) they have alot more free time.

Which gives them chance to interact with us lucky fellows a little more.

Naa the real truth is Valve are currently organising a synchronized spamfest and DOS attack of all the major sites, sending them offline so they can open halflife2.com/forums and claim all the users themselves.

It's true cause a guy in a pub told me his friend overheard a drunk in a gutter mumbling it in his sleep that he'd seen a post on the ask valve thread that had been written by supertrooper.

Perhaps they have more time because all of their work on HL2 is done, and its with mostly up to the testers and level designers for a little tweaking before it finally goes gold.

I'm surprised that brassmonkey, etc never tried to post a fake email saying "OMG, we just saw Doom3 and it's so good we're cancelling HL2 and just using that engine to make CS2" with one of his many fake names.

Or maybe he did, and the mods were too quick for him.
