Are Trucks As Popular In Europe

Most small and class 1 trucks definitely don't handle like shopping carts, 300hp+ (200kW+) is nothing to dismiss lightly. Class 2+ trucks do tend to get slower and clumsier as you go up. Smaller cars can squeeze in a little better, but it's hard to beat most trucks with the better engine packages.

The worst drivers I see are in trucks, SUV's, vans and anything with a GT or sports model. I made it from Halifax NS to Toronto last year on $150 worth of fuel in my Hyundai Accent. I drive the speed limit and I am literally laughing at you fools for you passing me in mass. Plus many of you driving beyond what you can actually control wind up be the majority of preventable deaths on the roads of the world. I will take my money and years of life over that any day.

Yeah, trucks are usually driven by people who think it makes them invincible. I think most people with trucks would be better with small SUVs or large sedans.

I live in Memphis and I'd say less than 1/5 of the cars you see are pick-up trucks. My bro has one that's manual and he drives it like a pro. It's not a bro-dozer either.

I hate the new "luxury" pick-up trucks though.

He's saying it's cheaper to shower in gas, duh.
