Actually, Sony never mentions multi-player as being part of their free service. It was omitted from their list of on-line service features. So, if they do charge to play on-line multi-player, then it would be just like Xbox Live - it's free for the basic service of downloading demos, 'Xbox Live Arcade' games, and episodic/patch content, but you have to pay if you want to play on-line multi-player.smwScott said:have to pay a fee to play online games.

And DarkStar, I think buying a console for one game is a bit of a bad investment.
I might buy an xbox 360 for gears of war, halo 3, and dead rising. But the price tag allows me to get both an xbox and a wii.<RJMC> said:whats if that game is the one you are most anticipating and waiting?

I have PS2 games but no PS2.
For the price of shipping I could buy a brand new one. :/VirusType2 said:I'd sell you mine - cheap, but you live in freakin Alaska.

Up until this point I have been waiting for the PS3 because I knew it would be backwards compatible and I thought getting a crusty old PS2 would be pointless.
